The Rochester Public Library’s redesigned Secret Room is a welcoming multipurpose space for children. Designed with an appreciation of Rochester’s history to allow for an engaging and educational visitor experience. A playful application of colors and imagery promotes play, exploration, and a chance to escape from the surrounding urban environment
As the library is situated against the Genesee river, this concept incorporates the nearby acquaduct, river, and skyline to provide a sense of place.
