Employee entrances are to the south, with a courtyard to the northeast.Large conference space to the west. Medium conference space and ideation area to the southwest; executive touchdown offices to the south. The learning center, resource room, model workshop, and work cafe are to the east
Second Floor PlanCentral stair and elevator leadto the primary workstations for employees. Quiet/phone rooms are featured in the north. Medium and small conference areas are in the southwest and northeast. A design resource library and open collaborative work/meeting space are located to the west of the building.
Work Cafe and SeatingFirst Floor - WestMy challenge for this project was to rebrand and design the new location of an interior design firm post-merger to accomidate company expansion while upgrading ergonomics, workflow, and accessibility.Emphasis on supporting body wellness, company growth, and increased socialization/collaboration.
Creative Lounge WorkspaceSecond Floor - WestThe design for Sēcan Interiors’ office location in downtown Los Angeles, CA will embrace the balance between California’s great outdoors and the convenience of it’s modern cities.Orange and violet hues with hints of muted green and yellow will energize, create sociability, and enhance creativity while referencing California’s coastal sunsets and mountainous terrain. Emphasizing the interior’s connection to the local environment will create mindfulness and focus on the present.This ultimate creative hub will have emphasis on clean lines, visual texture,and planes of color to invite interaction with the space as well as interaction between users.
