Mural WallThis project was located just outside of Buffalo, New York.As such, our group wanted to acknowledge Buffalo’s culture and scenery through our design.Large prints of early 1900’s Buffalo main street hang on the walls, and a Buffalo Bills inspired color palette of blue with hints of red-orange nodded to the active fanbase and abundant sports bars in the area.
Entertainment Area
View from Southeast EntryThis group project was my first opportunity to explore traffic patterns as they relate to functionality in design while attempting to integrate architectural features and strong visual elements.
First Floor PlanEntry from an adjacent office building was from the northwest and southwest, with additional patio seating to the south. The primary architectural feature is an L-shaped eat-in bar with the grab&go, hot bar, and vending machine area near the northeast entrance. To the southeast there’s seating for pickup and to-go orders. To the southwest, the entertainment space features lounge seating, shelving for board games, and a full-size billiards table.Custom bar height tables create a half-wall around this area, perfect for parties or social events.
Onyx Eatery Logo DesignInspiration for this logo included industrial coffee shops and modern design, as well as trends relating to geodes and crystals in interior design. A modern font combined with a geometric, semi-organic shape created a logo that feels approachable and contemporary.
